What is the Finnish Academy?
The Finnish Academy is a non-profit association for people who have Finnish connections and are active in Sweden.
The aim of the academy is to provide the members with useful knowledge, interesting contacts, inspiration and a light heart. For the purpose of gathering the academy regularly for knowledge acquisition, socializing and entertainment. The Academy is free from all ideologies and interest organizations and appoints its own members.
Topics that the academy often discusses are art and culture, history and the present, creativity and leadership. The Academy can, when it sees fit, have its discussions published.
The Finnish Academy meets once a month with the exception of the summer.
In 2017, the Finnish Academy introduced its first mentoring program. Read more about this here.
